  Acai Detox


Brandy Sugar Biscuits (Kourambiethes)

You'll Need:

# 3 cups of flour
# half a cup of caster sugar
# 1 cup of coarsely ground roast almonds
# 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
# 1 whole egg and the yolk of and egg
# 2 cups of olive oil
# 4 tbsps of brandy
# 2-3 cups of icing sugar(for coating)

Procedure:

# Pre-heat the oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4, 180 C # Put the sugar and olive oil into a bowl and beat thoroughly # Add the almonds, cinnamon, eggs and brandy, then slowly beat in the flour until the mixture turns into a soft dough that does not stick to your hands # Divide the dough into small pieces that can be moulded into a similar shape to a walnut and place on a lightly greased baking sheet # Cook in the center of the pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes # Remove from oven and allow to cool before sifting icing sugar over them until they are completely covered
