  Acai Detox


Spotted Dick

You'll Need:

# 4 oz. (100g) fresh brown breadcrumbs
# 3 oz. (75g) self-raising flour ,sieved
# 3 0z. (75g) shredded suet
# 3 0z. (75g) caster sugar
# 1 orange, grated rind only
# 6 tablespoons of milk
# 5 oz. (125g) currants
# 1 tablespoon demerara sugar

Procedure:

# Place all the ingredients, except demerara, in a bowl, gradually adding milk to form a soft dough # Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until smooth then shape into a 7 inch (18 cm ) roll # Place on a large baking sheet of greased greaseproof paper, sprinkle over demerara # Roll up the paper loosely and tie both ends with string, making a cracker shape # Set microwave to medium-high setting (three quarter full power) # Place cracker on base of microwave and cook for 9-10 minutes, turning twice # Serve hot
